Rahim in the central government long ago. When Rahim’s family members came to Dubai to set up a medical clinic they had sufficient Hawala money in their hand to start the business. The pioneering venture catalyzed starting of many other Electronic Corn’s in other States.
No sooner Ahmed took over Industries portfolio he fell foul with Nambiar for not employing sufficient Muslims and made fabricated charges against him for favoring his son at Bangalore by an order from Russia.etc. and made Nambiar resign the post in frustration. Ahmed brought a Muslim Engineer from Gulf and appointed him the Chairman/MD of Keltron. Within 5 years, the units of Keltron closed down one by one and is under BIFR now. A Kerala Congress minister in the present Kerala government ‘K.M.Mani’ started in the Keltron premises a firm called ‘Q-NET’ in his relatives name. The agreement was that 25% of the profit of Q-Net will be given to Keltron and the Q net will only use the Keltron office space only, throughout their branches in India. Keltron had such huge office spaces in most cities and Mani’s firm got a good deal. For example the Keltron office space in Bangalore itself was 5000 square feet most of which was not utilized. What Q-Net was doing is diverting international calls as local calls. Mani’s firm had links with Dawood Ibrahims Dubai setup. It was time when Muslim terrorist in the gulf countries started using Kerala christians as their front men. But when the American Consulate was attacked by muslim terrorists, CBI started enquiry and they found that Q-Net of Mani was involved in the international calls made by the terrorists. Strangely Q-Net was using even the stationary of Keltron and the unsuspecting and unrelated Keltron staff was put in jail.
